Successful 2023 Provincial 4-H Curling event

​Provincial curling was a huge success in Swift Current at Innovation Plex on February 17-19th. There were four teams from each region who were able to join in the bonspiel, and the hosting District #9 added in their teams for a total of 18 teams 9 Junior and 9 Senior playing in the bonspiel for the weekend.

The weekend started off Friday afternoon with the first draw taking place at 4pm. The banquet was held Saturday night, where all the teams were introduced. A grant total of  190 curlers, family and friends attended the banquet and dance! Members had a great time getting to know one another during the curling and dance!

The committee had a dress in your best Surf and Turf competition for Saturday, and there ended up being four winners, District #10 Junior, District #9 Juniors, District #26/27 Senior and District #9 Seniors! Congratulations to all who participated in the fun dress up event.

Two members were also spotlighted for the 4-H Spirit award, Jane Beierbach and Brayden Myers!
