WELCOME SHELBY COREY
​Interim Executive Director

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Shelby Corey as the Interim Executive Director of 4-H Saskatchewan, effective January 12, 2022. 
 
Shelby knows the 4-H program well through her experiences as a member, volunteer, and most recently as our Development Officer for 4-H Saskatchewan. She is a rural rancher, industry leader, and former RM Councillor. 
 
With a background in agribusiness and strong relationships with 4-H Saskatchewan's stakeholders and sponsors, Shelby is well poised to lead the organization in the short term as the Board of Directors engages in a recruitment process for a permanent Executive Director. 
 
Welcome back, Shelby! We look forward to your leadership as our Interim ED.

FAREWELL, CERA YOUNGSON​

Our outgoing Executive Director is leaving the organization to begin a new chapter in her career. Since joining 4-H Saskatchewan in 2012, Cera has been instrumental in shepherding the organization through major events and initiatives such as our centennial anniversary, growing our programs and fundraising, achieving 4-H Canada accreditation, and launching a new online membership platform. 

Cera has accepted the Executive Director position at the Saskatoon Zoo Society and will be beginning this role in the new year. The Board wishes Cera the best of luck and thanks her for nearly ten years of dedicated service to our members, leaders, and volunteers.

RECRUITMENT UNDERWAY

The Board of Directors have already begun the process of recruiting and hiring the new, permanent Executive Director to take on leadership of our organization as we move forward in to the future. You'll see postings and application information soon.
