Provincial curling was a huge success in North Battleford this year. We had 17 teams from all over Saskatchewan compete for the title of Provincial Champions. Games started Friday night with all of the senior teams playing as well as two junior teams. Teams were back at it early Saturday morning after the Opening Ceremonies and hearing some words from distinguished guests from the Battlefords area. After a full day of competition on Saturday, the Provincial 4-H Curling Banquet was held at the WDM. We had a great supper and were joined by special guest speaker, 4-H alumni and previous Scotties competitor, Taryn Holtby. Our participants enjoyed a dance social, before the final games on Sunday.
